Business Manager @ Dark Light
As a Business Manager at Dark Light, you play a key role in connecting top talent with companies in the data and business intelligence sector.
You combine commercial acumen with a passion for technology and people, building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
You'll be responsible for temporary projects, while still nurturing long-term partnerships with clients, freelancers, and our own consultants.

Responsibilities & tasks
An overview of your day-to-day workload
Business Development
Build and maintain a strong network of clients in the data and business intelligence sector.
Candidate Management
Identify, screen, and match the right profiles to open positions.
Consultative Sales
Advise clients on staffing solutions and provide insights into market trends.
Contract Management
Negotiate and follow up on contracts with both clients and consultants.
Relationship Management
Foster long-term relationships with clients and consultants, focused on trust and retention.
Market awareness
Stay up to date on the latest trends in data, BI, and recruitment.

Must Have
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a commercial role within the staffing or consultancy sector.
- Strong affinity with data, BI, or IT-related domains.
- Commercially driven and able to identify and seize opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English. French is an asset.
- Result-oriented, proactive, and solution-minded.

Nice to have
- Background in account management or business development
- Ability to pitch recruitment solutions or talent strategies to clients.
- Negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Experience with ATS platforms
- Understanding of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL); not to use them, but to understand candidate profiles better.
- Understanding of other data based solutions (SQL, Python, Azure, Snowflake, DBT, etc)
